Come and Take It Framed Print

Regular price $150.00
Come and Take It – Celebrate an enduring symbol of freedom and defiance. This design draws inspiration from the Battle of Gonzales in 1835, the opening conflict of the Texas Revolution. When the Mexican military demanded the return of a bronze cannon, the Texian militia defiantly refused, declaring, “Come and take it.” In response, Sarah Seely DeWitt and her daughter, Evaline, created a flag featuring a hand-drawn cannon with the words COME AND TAKE IT.
Our version reimagines this legendary banner with a detailed description beneath the cannon, telling the story of the phrase’s origins. Today, it stands as a powerful emblem of liberty, courage, and the enduring will to defend our rights—making it the perfect addition for any patriot’s collection.
