Rustic Wood USA Flag

This American Flag is a collage of 6 individual 5.5"X24"X1/2" pine boards secured together using two wood strips that run down the back.  The natural knots and grains add to the dramatic and rustic feel of each unique flag.  When this piece is made, no whites are used in the image, instead the natural coloration of the wood takes it place so the beauty of the wood isn't overtaken by the image.  This creates an interplay of texture and color creating art that lives naturally on the wood.
